Mastodon to begin work on new album

Mastodon bassist and vocalist Troy Sanders has revealed to Onslaught Radio that the band will begin work on the follow up to ‘The Hunter’ now that Reading and Leeds festivals have finished. “After these two festivals, the Reading and Leeds, we’ll take some time off and start working on new ideas.”

Kvelertak have revealed on Twitter that they have entered Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou’s Godcity studio to record their new album. Kurt Ballou, who produced their self-titled debut album, will be producing the new album but no further details have been revealed as of yet.
