The third of our fives features, vocalistpicks five of his favourite songs for you to enjoy.
Song: Third Eye
Eamon: This is one of those songs that consume me. The song has very deep texture. For a 13.5 minute tune it never seems to last long enough for me.
Band: Breaking Benjamin
Song: Evil Angel
Eamon: A master of his craft; I envy Benjamin Burnley’s ability to deliver great vocal melody. Every song on ‘Phobia’ gives you that hook that keeps you listening with no urge to skip to the next track. This song illustrates that huge chorus that stabs at your soul.
Eamon: The little voice of Lacy Mosley sounds so powerful. This band has the perfect mixture of guitar, bass and drums that allow the band to have that explosive sound.
Band: Jethro Tull
Eamon: What is there to say this song is timeless, and downright creepy.
Band: Avenged Sevenfold
Song: Natural Born Killer
Eamon: Currently I’m hooked on this album. This group continues to represent. I have been a fan of Dream Theater for the last decade and the addition of Mike Portnoy was the cats ass. Mike had very big shoes to fill and he fucking nailed it. This track grabbed a hold of me the first time I listened to it. RIP – “The Rev”
