Introducing: A Day Overdue
Coming from the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, A Day Overdue is the new breed of pop-punk set to take the planet by storm.
With a sound very similar to that of bands such as Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 there is massive potential for ADO to mimic the success of these bands and who knows, maybe actually stay around long enough.
In 2009 the band experienced quite a turbulent year with illness, line-up changes and almost folded under all the pressure, but they persevered and 2010 is the year of ADO! Having opened for bands like Summerlin, My Passion and The Gap Year Riot the band has an extensive gigging experience behind them, and that looks set to continue for the rest of the year.
The band has also managed to release their first full album in June, ‘Secrets’ is their first offering, and from listening to it, here’s hoping it’s not the last!
Later this year the band will be embarking on their first tour dates outside of Scotland and are extremely excited to do so. If you would like to book them for your town/city they can be contacted on band@adayoverdue.com or via their Facebook/MySpace.
