A Dark Orbit announce debut album plans

St Louis based A Dark Orbit are currently finishing up their highly anticipated debut full-length release titled ‘Parhelion’ which is due for release in late 2010. This will be the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2009 release ‘Voyager EP’.

Vocalist Chad Kapper said, “We currently have 12-14 tracks written and almost all the drums are recorded. We should start tracking the guitars in the next week, with vocals to follow soon. We expect about 12 tracks for sure to be on the record.”

The band are also currently working on a cover of the rare HUM track titled “Boy With Stick”.

Metal Hammer Magazine said, “If you like bands such as Emmure and Architects but couldn’t give a fuck about clean vocals or complex time changes, then bang your head to these guys…” “…A worthy addition to the ranks intent on creating increasingly heavy music…”
