A Day Overdue Announce Member Change And Tour Dates
Scottish Pop-Punk act A Day Overdue have announced that founding member and drummer Stephen McKie has left the band. The full statement from the band is below.
Today we’re sad to announce the departure of Stephen McKie from A Day Overdue. As a founding member, we’re all going to miss him and we’d all like to thank him for being a part of this adventure. There has been no falling out, no arguments, just purely and simply we wanted different things from our lives and we wish St…ephen well with everything he does in the future, and hopefully all of you guys do too.
However, the band have also announced that they have a replacement in ex Try This At Home (Glasgow based act) drummer Dave Maxwell. The full statement from the band on Dave’s appointment can be read below as well.
So you might all be wondering, if we’ve lost our drummer how are we going to play all the shows we’ve got lined up? The answer is simple. Go and say hello to our new drummer Dave Maxwell (ex-Try This At Home), add him, chat to him, learn to love him as much as we already do! Dave’s first show with us will be November 2…8th at Classic Grand, Glasgow with Make Out Kids and Autumn In Disguise, so let’s make it a good one for him. We have some more shows to announce, which we will do later on
The band have also announced the following upcoming tour dates.
November 21st – GRV, Edinburgh w/ Mike Fantastic
November 28th – Classic Grand, Glasgow w/ Me Vs Hero, The Holiday Parade, Paige
November 29th – Bannermans, Edinburgh w/Make Out Kids, Autumn In Disguise
November 30th – PJ Molloys, Dunfermline w/ Amy Can Flyy
