Abiotic to enter the studio next week to record debut album
Abiotic, the new Metal Blade signees, have announced that they will enter the studio on the 23rd April to record their debut full-length album. The band will be recording at Sonica Assault Studios with producer Charles J and engineer Phil Pluskota.
Abiotic comments on the signing to Metal Blade: “We can’t express how amazing it is to be on the same label as some of our favorite bands and how great it feels to be working with one of the biggest labels in metal!”
The band came to the focus of the metal scene with the release of their EP ‘A Universal Plague’ in September 2011. Steady gigging and word of mouth promoting brought the band to the attention of Metal Blade who comment: “It’s rare to come across a band as well put together as Abiotic. The video for ‘Vermosapien’ makes it immediately evident that this band has the chops, songs, work ethic, and live show to perform alongside any contemporary death metal act. We very much look forward to releasing this band’s music to a worldwide audience later this year!”
