AC/DC Rarities packages

At the beginning of the week we informed you of the news that AC/DC would be releasing a box set with the rumour of AC/DC branded amp also.

Well if you haven’t already heard, that rumour was spot on.

AC/DC announced two packages to allow fans to get their hands on rare items from the band and they certainly don’t disappoint.

The standard package includes:

Then of course AC/DC have released a great deluxe package, but the price of course may stop people from purchasing.

It comes in at $237 USD which on the website is advertised at £152.20

The ultimate collector’s edition package includes:

  • CD 1 – 18 Studio Rarities
  • CD 2 & 3 – Live Rarities
  • LP – 12 Studio Rarities
  • DVD 1 – Family Jewels Disc 3
  • DVD 2 – Live At The Circus Krone (2003)
  • 164 book full of rare and unseen photos from 1974-2009 (includes press releases, tour itineraries, tour books, test pressing labels and more)

All this comes packaged in a 12”x12”x4” exterior box that resembles a vintage AC/DC amp with original logo that was spray painted onto the rear of Angus and Malcolm’s speaker cabinets in 1975.

The head of the box has a handle which you lift to reveal all the contents, and when you remove the head, simply plug in your guitar and play along as it is a fully functional amp!

You can watch Angus playing the exact amp you receive, along with more information at http://www.acdcbacktracks.com/pages/3999219/
