Aerosmith aiming for June 2012 release for fifteenth studio album
Rolling Stone are reporting that the members of Aerosmith (minus Brad Whitford) turned up at the Grove mall in Los Angeles to talk about their US tour and fifteenth studio album.
Steven Tyler revealed that the band have been working on the album for four months and they only have two more songs to finish before the album will be mixed. After the album is mixed, it should be released in roughly three months which coincides with their US tour.
The album will be the band’s first in eight years and their first full of original material in eleven years since the release of ‘Just Push Play.’ ‘Honkin’ On Bobo’ was released in 2004 but it featured eleven cover songs and only one original.
