Between The Buried And Me bassist to release Separate Realities with new project Trioscapes

Between The Buried And Me bassist Dan Briggs has revealed a new side-project with Walter Fancourt (tenor saxophone/flute) and Matt Lynch (drums) which began in the summer of 2011. The members had been working on a rendition of the Mahavishnu Orchestra classic “Celestial Terrestrial Commuters” as well as a few original ideas with the intent of playing a one-off live show.

After performing the one-off live show the band released that they had something special and that was fun to play, so they decided to put together Trioscapes, a group who combines progressive rock and jazz together with no guitars in sight.

The band currently have one show lined up in May in order to celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Separate Realities.’ They plan to be on the road in June, July and September in support of the album but these dates will likely be US only.
