Bizarre And Jagermeister Come To Knebworth and Free Music For Every Sonisphere Ticket Holder

Sonisphere Festival Knebworth boasts exclusive headline appearances from Iron Maiden and Rammstein, plus a host of incredible talent such as Iggy & The Stooges, Slayer, Anthrax, Alice Cooper, Pendulum and more – many of whom you will only see at Knebworth this summer. Now, Sonisphere has announced more acts, the addition of a Bizarre entertainment area, and free music downloads for every ticket holder, making the £132.50 weekend ticket price – which unlike most festivals carries NO BOOKING FEE – the best value for money out there.

Sonisphere is proud to announce a unique collaboration with Bizarre, the world’s biggest alternative lifestyle and culture magazine. As curators of the Bohemia tent on Friday 30th July, Bizarre will bring their unique brand of the weird, decadent and downright freaky to Knebworth. For this one night only the tent will be transformed into a crazy fantastical world where anything can happen. One thing can be guaranteed; with rock and metal bands, amazing sideshow acts, outrageous DJs and a specially designed interior, the Bohemia tent is going to be wild. You don’t want to miss that.

One of the highlights for many people last year was watching bands such as The Defiled and Young Guns absolutely tearing it up on the Jagermeister stage. The guys from Jagermeister had so much fun that they went away, got their pencils out and have thrown everything into making their stage bigger, better and louder for 2010. Team Sonisphere have seen pictures of the new stage design and are seriously impressed. It’s going to be a really awesome place for up and coming bands to show people what they have got. The first batch of Jagermeister stage bands will be announced next week.

One of the most exciting pieces of news to emerge is that Joey Belladonna will be joining Anthrax on stage at Sonisphere this summer – including all the Big Four shows in Europe and of course at Knebworth. The legendary frontman explains:  “I had been in touch with Charlie and Frank, then I got a call from their manager who said that everyone wanted me back in the band. I thought, ‘are you guys for real? You want me up there, fronting the band like it was before?’ I was thrilled. We’ve already started to reconnect with the old ways of having conversations. Everything is easy going and feels really good.” We look forward to hearing JOEY and co deliver anthems such as “Madhouse”, “Among The Living” and “Caught In A Mosh”

Sonisphere Festival Knebworth is also delighted to announce a partnership with UK music streaming company we7 who will provide everyone in possession of a ticket with a free, two week Premium+ subscription, giving them access to millions of free tracks and albums on the service via the web or iPhone, on demand and without any adverts. The offer is available to existing and new ticket holders who should sign up at http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/2010/05/free-music
In addition, we7 is providing a special embeddable music player widget to the official SONISPHERE website (http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com), allowing fans to listen to free music from artists on the line-up.
Sonisphere takes place at Knebworth House July 30th – August 1st 2010

Tickets for Sonisphere Knebworth are on sale now at www.sonispherefestivals.com with a full weekend ticket going for just £132.50, no booking fee and a host of exclusive performances there is no better value for UK Festival Fans this summer!
