Black Sabbath to perform one show in the US in August

Recently Black Sabbath cancelled their full European tour, apart from one show at this year’s Download festival, due to Tony Iommi requiring more treatment for cancer. The previously announced dates will be covered by Ozzy Osbourne as he performs his solo material with special guests each night but now Sharon Osbourne has revealed that the band plan to perform one show in the United States in August. “They’re gonna be doing one show in America this summer but I can’t say yet because we can’t announce it, the promoters have to, but they are doing one show in August here together.”

Three quarters of the band are currently in the studio working on new material for a new album but Bill Ward will not be a part of the reunion until he is offered a “signable” contract.
