Bomb squad clear area at 30 Seconds to Mars documentary – Includes video footage

Last night the bomb squad and sniffer dogs were required to clear five blocks due to a bomb threat at the screening of 30 Seconds to Mars documentary for Haiti.

Fans gathered at The Hive in West Hollywood for a special screening when there was a knock at the door of the room they were gathered in. A young white male in a black hooded top approached the lead singer who tried to make light of the strange situation at first. Once the male had pushed his way to the front he dropped a large box in gold wrapping paper at the feet of Jared Leto and stated “It’s time for a little self-help.”

After Jared had stated they were just discussing Haiti he took the male by the arm who tried to free but Jared grabbed him and removed him out the back door away from fans as quickly as possible before the box was removed and the bomb squad were called in.

Watch the fan recorded footage of the full incident within the screening below the image.
