Brief Temple Of The Dog reunion (with video)

It hasn’t been the first time that the band has reunited for a live performance, but most recently on October 6th fans were treated to one song in Los Angeles.

Temple of the Dog formed in 1990, and with their self-titled debut album being praised by critics, it took to the formation of another project before it would receive the recognition that it so rightly deserved, eventually resulting in the album going platinum in the US and Canada.

October 6th, Chris Cornell walked on stage, taking the mic and joined the former members of Temple of the Do, who collectively now form Pearl Jam to perform their biggest track “Hunger Strike”.

Temple of the Dog never performed more than one full hour set live, and that was only during the writing of their album, but they have performed on future occasions, during Pearl Jam or Soundgarden performances, only for one to three songs.

Check out the fan video below and also the band’s music video for the track back in 1991.
