Cauldron nominated for Juno Award
Candadian metal trio Cauldron have been nominated at the 2012 Juno Awards in the “Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year” category. The band will compete with Anvil, Devin Townsend Project, Fuck The Facts and Ken Mode for the prize.
Cauldron guitarist Ian Chains comments:
“Nice to see heavy metal getting some acknowledgement in Canada. It doesn’t matter if it’s not mainstream and not everyone gets it. There’s still a great level of artistic value within and a lot of hard work that goes into every aspect of what these bands do. We’re proud to know that our achievements, however small when compared to mainstream acts, are still getting some recognition. Lay down your soul to the god’s rock ‘n’ roll!”
