Coroner Confirm Only UK Show Of 2011 At Bloodstock

While other UK festivals are only just now announcing their first acts, Bloodstock Open Air has already delivered news of it’s eighth exclusive appearance for next year’s festival. Swiss tech-metallers Coroner will make their first UK festival appearance at Bloodstock next summer.

Over five albums in the late 80s/early 90s, Coroner earned themselves a cult following across the globe, dazzling fans with their highly technical, prog-and-jazz-infused industrialised thrash, earning them accolades such as “the Rush of Thrash Metal” by music critics. Famed for their trademark odd time signatures and fretboard wizardry, the musos in the crowd will be impressed with Coroner’s mastery of musicianship, while the headbangers will find suitable satisfaction with the sheer force and heaviness of the band. Add to that the possibility of a guest appearance from Swiss metalhead and former collaborator Tom Warrior, who appears with Triptykon – Coroner’s only UK show of 2011 at Bloodstock could be an extra special treat.

Morbid Angel, Rhapsody Of Fire, Triptykon, Therion and headliners Immortal are already confirmed for the main stage, with Angelwitch and Lawnmower Deth on the Sophie stage, so BOA 2011 is set to be an unmissable event. What’s more, early bird tickets are on sale now at the price of just £90 – rolled back from £99.95 – up to 15th December 2010 and are available from www.bloodstock.uk.com – get yours before this special offer runs out!
