Cruel Hand return to the studio

Cruel Hand, have entered the studio to record their upcoming album set to hit streets in the late summer months of 2010. Cruel Hand will be tucked away at Getaway Recording for the next two weeks for a second collaboration with producer extraordinaire Jay Maas (Bane, Verse) laying down tracks for their yet-to-be-titled third full length and follow up to the sophomore release, Prying Eyes. “Working with Jay again was an easy decision,” says drummer Nate Manning. ” We love the monstrous sound he captured on Prying Eyes and expect to do bigger and better things with this record.” Released in October 2008, Prying Eyes grabbed the attention of the press with Punknews calling it a “straight-ahead powerhouse hardcore record complete with the usual trudging guitars, garbled vocals and drum beats that’ll shake up your speakers.” It’s two years later and Cruel Hand is preparing to unleash an album full of colossal breakdowns and air tight riffs once again. Get ready.

Since the release of Prying Eyes, the band has spent more time on the road than at home, proving to the world that Cruel Hand is a relentless touring machine, and one of the tightest most powerful live bands in the hardcore world. With a spot on New England’s Metal Fest and both a Japanese and European tour already confirmed for the summer months, expect to see Cruel Hand trekking across the globe in support of their new album.
