Daltrey and Page to join forces?

Roger Daltrey has stated that he wants to go back to his roots if Pete Townshend new in-ear system for tinnitus doesn’t help when they perform next month. If the test fails for Townshend it means the end of The Who but Daltrey is already planning ahead.

Talking to BBC 6 music, Daltrey stated that he would love to do an album with Jimmy Page as Led Zeppelin will not be returning.

Daltrey states that Page needs a singer to drive him and with his desire to return to his early day Blues, we could see both men join forces to take on something a little different.
