Download Festival adds more bands to the main stage

Andy Copping has announced a slight change to the Download line-up to keep unhappy festival goers happy with two new bands scheduled to be announced on Friday.

Download fans have been continually hitting on the fact that the opening Friday has very little bands performing, especially on the main stage. Originally on the main stage, Wolfmother are scheduled to start before Them Crooked Vultures take to the stage to warm fans up for the headline band, AC/DC.

Due to the massive scale of having AC/DC performing this year, the festivals organisers had arranged a slightly limited day on the Friday which would see every band finished performing before AC/DC took the stage to perform one of their biggest ever performances.

Though lots of people have felt this was a bad choice on the part of the organisers so Andy Copping has announced that two bands, currently on the line-up, have been moved to the Friday to perform on the main stage and another two bands have just been booked to replace their slots.

Those two bands who will appear on the main stage are 36 Crazyfists and Unearth.
