Download Festival headliner leaked?

As always at this time of the year, the speculation as to who will headline Download is crazy but recent leaks could have already backed up the words by Andy Copping when he said that it was going to “blow people’s minds”.

Recently slight poor changes to a certain website, the date was announced and caught quickly by users online before it was pulled again so that Andy Copping can make the official statement later this month.

With it being the 30th year anniversary of Black in black who other than AC/DC to headline the first night of Download Festival 2010.

The following was accidently put on the bands website:

“11-Jun-2010 Donnington, UK – Download Festival – TBD”

We are still awaiting the official announcement but a series of hiccups supposedly made by Copping and this new leak have more or less confirmed their presence.

Also, slightly more rumour mill but there has been strong indications that Sunday’s headliner will be announced as Metallica at the same or a few days later than the main announcement.
