Download Festival rename the main stage in honour of Jim Marshall, more bands and fifth stage announced

Download Festival have revealed that in honour of the recent passing of Jim Marshall, they will rename their main stage “The Jim Marshall Stage” for Download 2012.

The announcement was accompanied with the addition of more bands to the line-up, a fifth stage and club nights for this year’s festival.

Joining this year’s line-up are Ghost, Saint Jude, Shadows Fall, My Passion, Feed The Rhino, La Dispute, With One Last Breath, Royal Cartel, Tyla, The Dirty Youth, Yashin, Voodoo Johnson and Sanguine.

The JagerRock Truck will return to the festival as the Jagermeister Acoustic Stage and will host several exclusive acoustic sets across the weekend.

Also throughout April and May, UK clubs will host special Download nights with guest area tickets and other goodies up for grabs:
