Foo Fighters to plan new album this year

In an announcement which now makes me believe Dave Grohl and Jack White are going head to head for the busiest men in Rock; Foo Fighters will reunite this year to start planning their brand new album.

Drummer Taylor Hawkins told Rock Radio that they are planning to sit down and plan the album out later this year which would be the follow up to the 2007 release of Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

Though Hawkins side project, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, is preparing for the release of their second album which features Dave Grohl.

Grohl, of course a member of Them Crooked Vultures are aiming to release a second album, possibly this year, as well as a spot at this years Download Festival to contend with so it will non-stop for him this year.
