Goatwhore launches studio update

Goatwhore has posted their first video update from the studio on MetalBlade.tv. The video was shot and edited by the band and is the first in a series of videos that will chronicle the recording of the new album. The band is making quick progress and drums have already been completed.

Drummer Zack Simmons added the following: “Tracking for the new record went very smoothly with the help of excellent equipment. I played a Pearl Reference kit with Sabian AA cymbals. The drums sound like canons of doom. Every time I hear the toms I want to break something because they sound so damn good. The AA’s were a perfect match in their ability to cut through the thunder of the drums. This record is going to have a giant pair of balls hanging from it.”

Erik Rutan also produced the band’s previous two efforts, A Haunting Curse and Carving Out the Eyes of God. More details, including art, music and more studio updates will be made available as soon as they are completed.
