Guns N’ Roses no-show turns into riot
Axl Rose as we all know is famous for leaving fans waiting hours to see his cover band perform on stage but now that the band are finally touring in support of their latest album, Chinese Democracy, you would think he would get his act together.
Last night in Sao Paulo, Brazil the band were meant to perform at a private event hosted by model Ana Beatriz Barros. The crowd would reportedly be full of supermodels and billionaires ready to rock out to their music and possibly write off the debt that Axl has caused over the album. There have been reports that fake tickets to allow access to the performance for the general public had also been seen.
Though at the last minute, the first of three scheduled private appearances was cancelled and resulted in some ugly scenes.
Members of the crowd moved on stage and around the venue, including bathrooms, were they proceeded to destroy items, including props for the performance. The crowd then started to fight amongst themselves causing further chaos and destruction.
With the bands stage in Rio being destroyed after terrible weather, the band now have some bridges to mend in Brazil by making rescheduled appearances.
