Ikillya debut music video for And Hell Followed With Him

New York City’s prominent unsigned metal band Ikillya and Metal Injection have come together to premiere the band’s debut music video for the single “…And Hell Followed With Him” off of their debut record Recon.  Ikillya has been hailed as “NYC’s answer to Lamb of God” by Metalsucks.net and has been tearing it up at radio over the last few weeks with their single “…And Hell Followed With Him” which debuted as the 5th most added song at metal radio. Ikillya is currently positioned at #31 on the CMJ Metal charts.

Ikillya’s debut music video for their first single off Recon “…And Hell Followed With Him” was shot by seasoned director Frankie Nasso (All That Remains, Mudvayne, Hellyeah) in Staten Island, New York. “Being able to work with the amazing Frankie Nasso and his team and then have Recon be the #5 most added album with no label support is simply mind-boggling” said Ikillya vocalist Jason Lekberg, “We’ve got lots more work to do and we thank those who have worked with us so far for helping get us off to such a great start.”

Recon was released on April 5th and has received near perfect reviews from metal websites such as SkullsNBones.com and Metalcentre.com.  Recon can be purchased at the bands store, ikillya.bandcamp.com, or at any digital retailer.  Recon was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Hatebreed, This or the Apocalypse) and engineered by Paul Suarez (Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold), Ryan Kelly (Opeth, Orbs), and Armando Subero.

Ikillya features Jason Lekberg on vocals, David Kerr on guitar, and Mansa Gory on bass. The band’s name is just as brutal as their music and this New York City based metal band is forcing themselves to be heard with their formidable debut effort – Recon, which is out now via Amazon, iTunes, and Bandcamp.
