In Fear And Faith to release Imperial on 21st June

San Diego six-piece In Fear And Faith will be releasing their stunning sophomore album ‘Imperial’ through Rise Records on 21st June 2010.

Despite the plethora of music hailing from southern California, In Fear and Faith have proven themselves worthy of our attention. After selling over 20,000 records with their first release for Rise Records in 2009, ‘Your World On Fire’, and finishing their second studio album with producer guru Brian McTernan, ‘Imperial’ will serve as a testament to the band and will be showcased at this summer’s Van’s Warped Tour 2010. Having completed numerous tours in the States and Europe this past year, these San Diego natives are ready to prove once more that their reputation as a force to be reckoned with will remain constant.

Guitarist Ramin Niroomand explains, “For this album, we dug deep to look into records that have continued to be relevant in the music scene for years. As a band, we all have different tastes in music, which helped us to achieve what we can confidently say is an incredibly diverse album. For this writing process, we experimented with styles and sounds influenced by Muse, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Receiving End Of Sirens, A Perfect Circle, Glassjaw, As Cities Burn, and even Linkin Park. Lyrically and vocally, our vocalists were greatly influenced by Elliott Smith, A Day To Remember, The Dear Hunter, Harvard, Circa Survive, The Receiving End Of Sirens, and life experiences.

Overall, this is an album we are incredibly proud of. We strive to achieve a sound that listeners can relate to being an EPIC, diverse, catchy, and heavy sound that will remain relevant for years to come.”

For a taster of ‘Imperial’ head to In Fear and Faith’s MySpace to stream “The Solitary Life” and “Counselor”.

In Fear and Faith is: Cody Anderson – Vocals, Scott Barnes – Vocals, Tyler Mcelhaney – Bass, Ramin Niroomand – Guitar, Noah Slifka – Guitar, Mehdi Niroomand – Drums.
