Ingested set for album number two

Ingested have finished writing the follow up to their critically acclaimed, devastatingly brutal debut ‘Surpassing The Boundaries Of Human Suffering’. But will they be able to push the envelope even farther for their eagerly anticipated follow up? ‘There’s a lot more energy in it’, assures guitarist Sam Yates. ‘Faster blasts, bigger slams and it’s groovy as fuck!’

The band look set to enter Foel Studio with recording wizard Chris Fielding (Napalm Death, AOAA, Dyscarnate) in late 2010. Having worked on some of the heaviest albums of the past few years, Sam seems certain that Fielding will capture exactly what Ingested are gunning for. I trust Chris will get the best from all of us. We’ve heard a lot of great things from Foel – plus, Sean and Lyn have worked with him before (On the latest AOAA outing The Reign Of Darkness – available now at the SOAR web store). We’re going for a more natural drum tone this time – the album will have a more Trad-Death inspired sound than ‘Surpassing’. Ingested’s new release will surface around winter. The debut album ‘Surpassing The Boundaries Of Human Suffering’ is out now, available online at the SOAR web store, or direct from the band at live shows.
