James Durbin states he is not the new Drowning Pool vocalist

Two days ago Blabbermouth posted a news story regarding several ticket websites selling tickets for upcoming Drowning Pool shows with James Durbin of American Idol. It wasn’t clear if James was supporting Drowning Pool or if he was performing with the band on vocals. Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce had previously stated that their new vocalist’s name begins with the letter J but did not add anything more as they were recording their new album at the time.

After Blabbermouth published the story, James took to his Twitter account to post the following:
