John Paul Jones talks about TCV

In a recent interview with the BBC, John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) has stated things have worked out for the best with Led Zeppelin not being able to replace Robert Plant and that is he is very happy.

Not being able to agree on a new lead singer with Jimmy Page and Jason Bonham (Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge appeared to be favourite) they agreed that dropping the idea of going on tour under a different name would never happen and it was time to look at other projects.

Jones admits he was already a massive fan of the drumming ability of Dave Grolh when asked if he would like to just have a session with him and Homme:

I immediately recognised that this was a drummer that was a: really good, and b: groovy, and c: listened, all those nice things that bass players like in drummer.

Since 2005 the band has been planting the seeds and growing up to their November 17th tour and debut album release.
