Jurojin Confirmed for Polands Metal Hammer Festival

London’s Jurojin have landed a slot to perform at Poland’s prestigious Metal Hammer Festival 2010. They join a line-up of only seven bands and will be playing with the likes of Korn, Opeth, and Katatonia. The one-day festival takes place in Katowice in the famous Spodek venue. “To have been asked to join this bill is all a bit surreal. We are thrilled to be able to finally come and play in Poland, and to be able to do so in a venue such as Spodek and at a festival as prestigious as this one is an amazing opportunity. We will not be taking that for granted. MetalMind Promotions have been amazing with us so far… we are lucky to be involved with a company at the forefront of Poland’s metal and hard rock community” states singer James Alper. “Every band on the bill is superb and we really can’t wait to share the stage with them.”

Jurojin have just released their acclaimed debut mini-album, “The Living Measure of Time” to great critical acclaim. Kerrang! Magazine have called them “one of the most unique bands of 2010,” Rocksound describe the album as “displaying a maturity far in excess of the band’s apparent experience,” and Jurojin have received equal praises from the likes of Prog magazine, Powerplay, XFM, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and Kerrang! Radio amongst many others.
