Lamb Of God pick Skyharbor to support them in India
Skyharbor have announced that they will perform a one-off support show with Lamb Of God on the 26th May in Bangalore, India.
The band were hand-picked for the show, as Lamb Of God’s drummer Chris Adler explains: “My endless pursuit for new music has pulled my attention all over the globe. I came upon a demo project called Skyharbor a couple years ago and I’ve been preaching the gospel ever since. It’s an honor to have them join us in concert in their home country of India. Skyharbor inspires me and I know that together we will raise the bar for future shows in India. Can’t wait!”
The Nokia Alive event (orchestrated by Overture) will also mark the first appearance for renowned vocalist Daniel Tompkins (ex-TesseracT) with Skyharbor, after he recently completed vocal work on the band’s debut album, ‘Blinding White Noise: Illusion & Chaos’, released worldwide via Basick last month.
Tompkins had the following to say about the show: “I’m extremely honoured to be coming back to India, this time with Skyharbor! To be supporting Lamb Of God as part of their world tour is a total privilege. We worked incredibly hard on ‘Blinding White Noise’ and this may be the only opportunity we get to showcase ‘Illusion’ live in its entirety – so I for one, cannot wait!”
