Lincoln boss Danny Cowley denies holding Sheffield Wednesday talks

Lincoln boss Danny Cowley has denied that he has held talks.
The 40-year-old, that did lately admit to talks with Huddersfield after the clubs agreed settlement, admitted to being frustrated at the speculation linking him with a move to Hillsborough.
“It’d be wonderful to put it if I can, however, you guys always seem to learn more than I do,” he told a media conference on Thursday.
“We have talked about Huddersfield. There’s not been any contact from Sheffield Wednesday.
“I can’t control what people write or say. All I could do is control where my focus is based and that’s fully on the game ahead against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.”
After sacking Jan Siewert four games into the season, although the Owls are still looking for a new manager after Steve Bruce stop to join Newcastle into mid-July huddersfield are on the search for a new supervisor.
Cowley has come to be a candidate for occupations in divisions after more than three years in Sincil Bank, that has included returning the Imps as League Two champions to League One last season.
