Malefice are David Mitchell’s favourite group!!

Reading outfit Malefice were featured on David Mitchell’s news-based quiz show the Bubble that aired in the UK on BBC2.

Masquerading as ‘The League Of The Righteous’, a band mistaken and raided by police fearing a militant terrorist outfit was active they managed to fool one of the panel, Josie Long into believing the yarn.

After name checking the band, poor Mitchell was forced to ‘admit’: “Malefice are my favourite group”, before adding: “I’ve probably killed off their careers now!”

THE BUBBLE is available online at the BBC iPlayer for UK users. The section featuring Malefice starts at 19’ 50” and David Mitchell’s love for Malefice is at 23’ 50”
