Mammal split

It hasn’t been long since I was introduced to Australian rockers Mammal, falling in love with their studio album The Majority, to now hear that the band have split.

With recently breaking the UK on tour in support of their music and nothing but positive reviews from fans; the disappointment to the news that they have split can already be read in bulk throughout UK forums, with many posters stating they were attending the headline tour of The Answer to simply see Mammal perform.

Statement from the band can be found below from MetalHammer:

Due to long standing personal, political, musical and business differences, Mammal has decided it cannot continue and is no more…

Ezekiel Ox will be releasing the debut album from his THE OX AND THE FURY early 2010, as well as continuing to work with super-producer and long time friend Forrester Savell on their new incarnation SMASH NOVA.

Pete, Nick and Zane will continue to work together with a new project scheduled for 2010.

Peace, Love and Music.

We will be sure to keep you up-to-date with the latest news regarding the progress of the members new projects!
