
Mark Hoppus begins work on new Blink-182 album
In February 2012, Mark Hoppus revealed that he planned to start work on the new Blink-182 album following their UK tour and now, officially, he has.
Posting to his Google+ account, Hoppus posted “it begins…” followed by a screenshot of Logic Pro. As the post was a little cryptic, Mark followed up with a comment to confirm it is new Blink-182 material that he is recording: “Sorry, not trying to be mysterious. Yes, this is me opening a new file for a Blink-182 song. I had three ideas today, all very different. I wish I knew how to operate Logic better. These guitar tracks sound like Frankenstein’s monster singing dub step…”
