MOTORHEAD TO START WORK ON NEW ALBUM IN FEBRUARY

Lemmy, Mikkey Dee & Phil Campbell are planning to start writing & recording the follow up to Motorizer in February. The for now untitled album will be Motörhead’s 25th studio album.

In other Motörhead news – Lemmy accompanied by Dave Lombardo of Slayer on drums have recorded a cover of Ben E. King’s classic Stand By Me, which is featured on the soundtrack to the new Flip Skateboards film “Extremely Sorry”, created by the producer Baron and released digitally this past Tuesday.

There is also a book, out this week in the UK – Motörhead: In The Studio – an official detailed guide to the process of making classic albums like Ace Of Spades, Overkill, Bomber, Orgasmatron, March Or Die and Motörizer, among others. Featuring new interviews with Lemmy and various producers and musicians who’ve worked on various albums throughout the band’s career.
