My Chemical Romance announce UK shows

Poised to return with ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Kill Joys’, one of the most eagerly anticipated albums of the year, My Chemical Romance have confirmed details of the UK leg of The World Contamination Tour. A special preview film for the album hit #2 on YouTube’s overall video chart and reached over 500,000 views in the 48 hours after its initial upload.

The tour represents My Chemical Romance’s first UK dates in three years and offers fans a rare chance to capture the arena stars in more intimate venues. They will play:

October

23rd – London, HMV Hammersmith Apollo
24th – Manchester, O2 Apollo
25th – Edinburgh, Corn Exchange

Tickets for all three shows go on sale from 9am on Friday September 24th.

Fans who buy their tickets through UK Undercurrent get a special deal which includes an ultra-collectible t-shirt designed by Gerard specifically for each individual show. These rare t-shirts are available exclusively through www.crowdqueue.com/mychemicalromance and won’t even be sold on the night of the gig. UK Undercurrent also offers pre-sale copies of ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Kill Joys’.

Set for release in November, ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’ follows My Chemical Romance’s 2006 global smash hit album ‘The Black Parade’. The album was recorded at Lighting Sounds Studio with producer Rob Cavallo and will be preceded by the single ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)’ on November 8th. The single will premiere on Radio 1 at 7.30pm this Wednesday.
