Pearl Jam to release new album in 2013

Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready has revealed that Pearl Jam’s tenth studio album will not be released until 2013. Loudwire report that McCready told radio station WFPK, “We’re probably not gonna have anything out this year. We’re trying to make this thing the best as possible that we can and we’re taking our time with it. Like a slow-cooked turkey [laughs]. I don’t know if that’s the right analogy.”

Mike’s comments back up those of guitarist Stone Gossard who stated in March that the band are in no rush to complete the album.
