Profane Omen push back release date for Destroy

Profane Omen, the full-tilt rockers from the Finnish Town of Lahti, will release their latest studio album, ‘Destroy!’, on November 7th 2011 on the Spinefarm label which was originaly scheduled for a September 28th release.

This is the band’s third album since 2006, when they unleashed their ‘Beaten Into Submission’ debut; this outing soon gave way to the ‘Disconnected’ EP (2007) and then the ‘Inherit The Void’ album (2009), a crushing statement of intent – produced in part by Ville Sorvali from Moonsorrow – that has recently been re-issued through Spinefarm in expanded form.

Upon its release, ‘Inherit…’ crashed into the Top Ten in the Finnish charts… so there is much excitement over the imminent arrival of ‘Destroy!’, recorded at Petrax Studios in Hollola, Finland.

Say the band….
“This new album will tear, manhandle, beat, and for a while maybe even pet you. We think that on ‘Destroy!’ Profane Omen sounds better than ever before, and we managed to capture the energy and free flow in these songs just the way we wanted.”

To celebrate the announcement of the album, the band created a teaser that shows them throwing a customised grand piano off a bridge.
