Robert Plant to tour with ‘Band Of Joy’ in North America

Band Of Joy were a 1960s rock band which consisted of Robert Plant and fellow Led Zeppelin member John Bonham but only went on to release one album with what was known as the main line up who split in 1968.

Several incarnations of the band state there was a number of releases, from 2 to 3 albums but the follow up albums never included the talents of Plant or Bonham.

The name will be used by Robert Plant to title themselves as ‘Robert Plant And The Band Of Joy’, for a North American tour throughout July which is expected to showcase some of the work from his brand new album.
