Stone Sour to return in 2010

In a recent interview with Noise Creep, Corey Taylor has announced that Stone Sour will hit the studio in January for two to three months to record their follow up to Come What(ever) May which was released in 2006.

“I can say the material is darker than ‘Come Whatever May,’ but a lot more melodic, a lot stronger, a lot more mature, and the lyrics that are coming out of me are really good,” he says. “I’m really excited.”

The album will see the return of Roy Mayorga on drums who took over on the bands last album from Joel Ekman.
