Switchtense stream new song

?Portuguese thrashers Switchtense have recently unveiled a brand new song called “Face Off” from their highly anticipated second and self-titled full-length record, which will be released on May 9 via Rastilho Records.

The hotly anticipated follow-up to 2008’s critically acclaimed debut “Confrontation of Souls,” raises the bar in every conceivable way. With improved musical abilities and a refined approach to songwriting, the ferocious nature of Switchtense uncompromising metallic-attack has been intensified ten-fold with the five-piece set out to truly take things to the next level and cement their reputation as one of most wrecking and creative forces in modern thrash-metal.

With 12 tracks in all, “Switcthtense” was recorded at Ultrasound Studios in Moita, Portugal, with producer Daniel Cardoso (Angelus Apatrida, Ava Inferi, Heavenwood, Head Control System), who also recorded the band’s debut “Confrontation of Souls”.
Dew-Scented vocalist Leif Jensen makes a guest vocal appearance on “Legacy of Hate,” which fuses the intimidating and guttural roars of Leif and Hugo with some truly crucifying riffs and leads. Watch out for this one!

Karia – Bass
Neto – Guitar
Pardal – Guitar
