The Answer bassist states Rival Sons and Saint Jude are reviving rock n roll

In my recent interview with Micky Waters, bassist of The Answer, I questioned him about the theme to their new album ‘Revival’ which lead singer Cormac Neeson states is all about reviving rock ‘n’ roll. When I asked who he felt were reviving rock ‘n’ roll in the same manner to which they were and releasing music and performing to the level that is required Micky stated, “there are definitely a couple of bands like these guys Rival Sons seem pretty cool and a band called Saint Jude, they are a good band who I’ve seen.”

Both Saint Jude and Rival Sons have recently been nominated in the “Best New Band” category at the Classic Rock Awards 2011 after blistering sets at this year’s High Voltage festival with Rival Sons picking up another nomination for the “Best Album” award also.

Rival Sons second studio album ‘Pressure & Time’ recently hit stores in the UK and the band has just came off a UK tour opening for Judas Priest.
