Toryn Green joins new band

Long wanting his own project, Fuel lead singer Toryn Green has joined up with members of A Farewell Fire, who recently split with their lead singer, to form For The Taking.

Green joined Fuel in 2006 to lead their fourth studio album Angels & Devils. The album did not achieve the heights of previous which has since lead to the band going on hiatus.

With former Fuel lead singer Brett Scallions forming Re-Fueled (touring band that will perform Fuel songs) with current Fuel bassist Jeff Abercrombie, former Buckcherry guitarist Yogi Lonich and former Candiria drummer Ken Schalk; questions now surface that if Scallions and Bell can solve their differences, will Fuel reunite if Green has decided to leave?

For The Taking are not wasting time to make their impression felt, with a series of gigs already under their belt and a number of demos on the bands MySpace which show a great direction for the band.
