Updated: Hellbilly Deluxe 2 delayed till 2010

Rob Zombie has yet again delayed his upcoming solo album Hellbilly Dexluxe 2.

I am unsure of the reason but the album was scheduled to hit stores November 17th and which was stated by Rob Zombie as his last ever CD album.

Update: Rob Zombie in an interview with Billboard.com has revealed the reasons why the album has been delayed to 2010.

Everything was turning into a chaotic mess.

Basically the label (Geffen) wasn’t really in a position to promote it or deal with it,” Zombie explained. “It was basically everything, from getting advance copies to the press to…There wasn’t even time to make a video (for the first single, ‘What?’) and we were leaving for the tour. There was the sense that every little thing about the record was rushed — not the music, ’cause that was done for a long time, and that was the thing that was so annoying. We spent so much time crafting the record, we didn’t want it to be something that was so chaotic that it became, ‘Oh, that’s done and gone’ two weeks later.

Update (29/10/2009): Rob Zombie has announced that he has left his current label and has now officially signed with Roadrunner/Loud & Proud Records in order to release his new album. Stay tuned for release date information.
