Warped are also offering one lucky unsigned band a slot at Vans Warped Tour UK. 2012 marks the 16th year that Ernie Ball has given unsigned bands the opportunity to play the Vans Warped Tour. The Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands has become known throughout the industry as a breeding ground for North America’s best unsigned talent. This November Ernie Ball and the Vans Warped Tour will be giving one UK Band the opportunity to make history and be a part of the most successful festival of all time. Promote your band using all of the available tools and fight hard to get as many votes as you can. The Vans Warped tour isn’t just about music. In true Warped tradition, the London stop will have a strong Action Sports element, hosting the Vans UKSA National Vert Skateboarding Championships. With a prize purse of £15000 up for grabs, the contest will feature the biggest names in the UK vert scene. Expect to see living legends including Sean Goff and Andy Scott alongside current heavy hitters and X-Game medalists Sam Beckett and Sam Bosworth, with the next generation snapping at their heels, including Matty Carlisle, who has already made the 720 his signature trick.
