Volbeat announce Black Spiders as main support on UK tour

Denmark’s finest rockabilly metallers; Volbeat are fast gaining a reputation as one of the world’s great rock acts, and now – at long last – they have finally confirmed their first ever UK headline tour for October 2011.

The band, whose latest studio album ‘Beyond Hell / Above Heaven’ (Spinefarm) has taken them to the forefront of the international hard rock scene, were due to play the UK at the back end of last year, but due to frontman Michael Poulsen falling ill, the dates were unable to go ahead.

Now, the tour has not just been rescheduled but moved up in venue size, with a new single (‘Heaven Nor Hell’) lined up to coincide. So as not to disappoint fans, Black Spiders (who were the main support for the cancelled dates), have once again been added as main support for the new dates. Following several triumphant appearances at this summer’s festivals, they continue to prove beyond doubt that they are one of Britain’s most raucous and brilliant live bands. These two bands will be tearing up venues across the country, these shows are not ones to be missed!
