Wives were reason for Velvet Revolver split
Scott Weiland has spoken to Details.com and stated that the downfall of Velvet Revolver was all down to the members wives.
The band had formed after Weiland met Duff McKagan at the gym but he has also met Slash and spent time in rehab with Matt Sorum.
As Velvet Revolver still search on for a lead vocalist, Weiland states “When Velvet Revolver first got together it was great….We had all been through the same experiences, and it felt like a gang. But everyone was a rock star. There were petty jealousies. Then the wives got involved with the business of the band, and that was the beginning of the downfall.”
Slash noted in February that after a chance meeting with Scott on a flight to Las Vegas that he no issues with him and couldn’t wait to hear to the new Stone Temple Pilots album.
