Single Review: Marilyn Manson – No Reflection
The man that many once considered the “God Of Fuck” returns with a pop-rock vibe song, yeah, we all saw that coming considering his somewhat public fall from grace in the past few years. It is reminiscent of ‘Heart Shaped Glasses’, but with a lot more pace. The guitar intro sounds pretty cool, but then the 80’s style synth band drumbeat kicks in and it all gets a bit boring. The guitar work is nothing extraordinary, repetitive to the point of annoyance. Manson’s voice sounds good, but the casino lyrics lack any oomph. Nothing draws you in; you don’t really feel inclined online casino to listen to the track again. It seems like he is just churning out songs without meaning, maybe his lack of shock appeal has matured the previously make-up coated stilt-wearing maniac. It is a decent song, if you forget who the artist is and just imagine some faceless nobody. I miss , he was a voice of a young twisted generation that I felt I belonged to and I really hope he gets his edge back, this pop-rock vibe nonsense just isn’t hitting the spot for me. And I think many of his fans would agree.
