Our mission on EspyRock is to continually introduce our readers to new music and to give each band some extra recognition that they deserve.

Working with us couldn’t be easier as you get in touch and let us do the work.

We have two methods of bringing your band to our readers, the first being an “I have discovered” feature.

I have discovered…

“I have discovered” works when you, as the band, just want people to know who you are with a nice easy post about the band, usually the bands bio with some extras thrown in such as YouTube videos and photographs. At the end of the feature we inform users of where they can find you (official website, MySpace etc).

This is our quickest piece as if the band has a well written bio or a full EPK that can be sent, we can guarantee that the content will be online very quickly as little editing must be done.

The second of our regular features involves a little bit more but is our well known pieces on the website.

Band Features

Our “band features” begin the same way as our discovery features. We introduce the band with the bands bio, giving our readers the most accurate information about the band so they are able to understand who you are.

We can include a small image gallery or slideshow of images of the band within the bio.

Each feature will now include a newsletter sign-up box, in which users, if they wish, can sign up to and we will forward the details on from our database.

If you’re EP or album is available to purchase on iTunes/Amazon, we will also add those key links to our feature though the above extras for a full feature are based on the next section.

To finish and secure the band feature, we then introduce our secure media player and would like for the bands permission to stream either your album or EP.

- Streams can last as long as the band wishes. The longer the stream, the more recognition you will receive.
- Our streams are fully secure and encrypted. Our music is stored separately from our player in secure folders and our playlists use an encryption on all file locations therefore making it extremely difficult to ever find where your music is located. Each band we work with for a feature will be added to our sidebar which is present on each and every page on the website so users will never fail to notice you especially as we will be regularly updating our readers on Twitter to come listen to you.

Featured band

Featured bands on the website gain a little more notice and more pushing from the team here at EspyRock.

Not only are you mentioned as a featured band on the website, you will continue to have your name on the featured panel on the front page of the website for 1-2 weeks.

We note that we will only run two bands at one time as “Featured Bands” though our regular features will always run.

In order to be titled as a “Featured Band” we want to work with you on something a little extra.

Such extras can be:

- Streaming Exclusive Songs or a video
- Going on tour? Work with us on a tour diary (your band will be continually featured while tour is active, even if you’re on the road for a month)
- Sponsoring an EspyRock Giveaway

If becoming featured and having that extra push would benefit you, then please let us know on first contact.
