San Diego based Dirty Sweet have announced a new album, upcoming shows at SXSW & an European tour. The new album, from the band who have won the two latest “Best Rock” honors at the San Diego Music Awards, are titled “American Spiritual”. 

It has been announced that Californian post-hardcore band Saosin will not be going ahead with their UK tour with Aiden, which was scheduled for April and May. The following statement was released on the band’s MySpace page by bassist Chris Sorenson:

ALICE IN CHAINS has teamed with Popcult (in association with Devil’s Due Comics) for a promotion allowing fans to add their chapters to the controversial storyline depicted in the video for current single “Your Decision”.
